Canon Enters the Mirrorless Market with the EOS M
Prior to today, Canon was the last major holdout in regards to releasing a compact, mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera. Detailed in our complete preview of the newly announced camera, the EOS M includes features such as an 18-megapixel APS-C sized CMOS sensor,
new EF-M lens mount system, a 3.0-inch touch screen LCD and full HD 1080p video recording; just to name a few. .
At the moment, Canon has announced two lenses for the new camera; a 22mm pancake prime lens that will be bundled with the kit later this year and a second lens with a 18-55mm zoom that will require a separate purchase at launch.
