Soloshot Automatic Tripod Keeps the Camera on You

Soloshot thumb 400x266 15605 Soloshot Automatic Tripod Keeps the Camera on YouIf you’re into snowboarding, BMX,
surfing or any other action sport, you’ve probably wanted to see
yourself do it. If you don’t have any friends that are good with a
camera, or if you aren’t quite yet ready to let someone else see
you in action, you’ll want to take a look at the Soloshot.

Soloshot is an automatic tripod that
records your movements. It does this by tracking an armband that
you’ll wear while doing whatever it is you do best. You can record
speeds up to 140mph and at distances of up to 2000 feet. The maximum
angle is 40 degrees.

“We originally created SOLOSHOT to
film our surf sessions from the beach because it was difficult to
find friends willing to film us having fun for hours,” says
co-founder Chris Boyle. “We just initiated a Kickstarter campaign
that will allow us to set up a high volume production line here in
the USA, as we currently hand build each SOLOSHOT individually. As we
grow, we plan to continue manufacturing ourselves in the USA – and
our Kickstarter project will make this possible”

The Soloshot is available at $ 349
through Kickstarter and will sell for $ 479 when it hits retail.
